Jam: I agree. Don't resist.

It goes bad no matter what color or sex if you resist.

And I agree we should work to make this country greater.

I resent the title of the topic 5 white NYPD choke African American guy for breaking up fight.

The title is so wrong and missleading.

And race baiting.

For one thing the video shows he was not chocked. You can not talk or breathe when your are being choked.

He was in a head lock.

I watch the video over and over. He says I cant breathe, I cant breathe, I cant breathe.

I taught defensive tactics for my department.

And you can not talk when you are in a choke hold.

The reason people die from a choke hold is because they cant breathe.

When you cant breathe, you cant talk.

The criminals are dumb they don't know you need air to talk.

I believe he was uncomfortable because he choose to resist and the stress might have brought on

a asmatic episode, or a diabetic coma.

But that was his choice and doing on so many levels form being over weight to repeatedly making himself a

target for the police.

So the choke hold is wrong and missleading.

The whole post is race batting.

But probably good for attracting viewers and advertisers.

He was in a head lock from 40 seconds to 54 seconds. On the video not time wise.

14 seconds in elapsed time.

If you want to be a thug, you got to be in shape and you cant have asthma.

We would tell that to all the asmatic thugs at the county jail.

Even if he was in a choke hold for 14 seconds that would not kill anybody.

But he was not in a choke hold because he was talking the entire time.

So the whole video is race baiting.

Jam: I don't know what color you are or are not.

I just know there is a lot of racism against white people on this board.

I agree there are a lot of thug cops.

Especially the ones that shoot dogs.

On the video of this posting I did not see any thug cops.

I saw a criminal who resisted arrest and died.

I do think its a shame that he is a criminal for selling illegal cigarettes.

But the line has to be drawn somewhere.

And if he would have let them handcuff him and not resisted he would still be alive.

I think it is a shame that not everybody can make a good wage and have all of

lifes nice things. That is a problem I don't know how to solve.

I know how to solve it individually but not for a whole population.

I agree it is a shame what this country did to the native Americans.

But my great grand parents were Indians, Cherokees, So I guess I will stay here.

And e mail you when you go back to what ever country you came from where they

dont have white people.

My thoughts being a retired sheriffs deputy in Florida.

He was not in a choke hold.

If you are in a choke hold you can not talk, you can not breathe.

Eric Garner said everytime you see me you want to harrass me at 51 seconds on the video of his being taken down.

He had a record of selling cigarettes illegally.

Once you enter the police/criminal justice system you are a client for life, white or black.

At 106 he ask please leave me alone.

You cannot be a criminal and hang out on the streets in any respectable place and be left alone.

He resisted when the officers tried to hand cuff him.

They have to hand cuff him for his and their own safety.

He could take their guns and shoot them or civilians.

I know of too many cases where the criminals have taken the officers guns and killed them.

This happened a lot in the 90's and before.

Police are more cautious now days and handcuff or in this case attempt to handcuff the suspect

before things go south.

I am saddened and perplexed by so many racist anti white posters here on JWN.

If you don't like living in a free society you can always go live in Africa.

And hang out on the streets.

young earth creationists (like dr. john morris) are taken to task in an article producing the following statistics:.

let's begin with today's population of the earth (estimated) 6,623,924,220. call it 6 billion.. now, let's go back to noah and his family after the flood.

but--let's take the baby steps necessary to get from 8 people to our goal of 6 billion.. why?

It is something to think about.

I don't think people back then only had 2.4 children.

I think they bred like mormans.

The 2.4 or something like that is an average from the flood till today but not an average from

the flood until Davids census.

I have been in the stock market when for 20 years it averaged a 15% return a year.

During Bush's time in office it didnt make anything or something close to nothing.

The big picture average of anything is not like the short term or small picture average.

Can God Really see the Future?

this is regarding the garden of eden/apple dispute.. if the all knowing, all powerful god sees/knows the future then surely the angels (that he created) should know the god knows the future.. now god knows that humans cannot rule themselves, hence the angels should also know this 'fact'.. why does he need to prove this point to the angels (as is taught by the wt)?.

do the angels doubt the almighty god or do they have a reason not to trust or believe him?.

They have proven that over and over.

My take on the garden of Eden dispute.

God is the author of history.

He knows the begining from the end.

We are God having a human, material experience.

We are entertaining ourselves.

The only time I have gotten screwed is when I allow myself to get screwed.

If I allow it just about anybody would screw me.

Thats human nature.

In my younger JW days. I allowed myself to get screwed by many JW's

They usually screwed with my brain.
